Re: What are ways to incorporate assistance work besides SE?

I'll post here instead of creating a new thread...hopefully it is read since this post is now a few weeks old I plan on running Operator/Black. I am trying to figure out a way of adding an exercise (yes, just one extra) such as inverted rows in order to correct a rounded shoulder issue that I've ha...

Re: Combining Op and Mass (for accessories)

So are you really thinking of a small-cluster GZCL while rotating which exercise you treated as MS & which ones as MT? That could totally work, but it's not really much like TB anymore. Nothing at all wrong with it in my eyes, I like it. No harm in the experiment.

Re: Eating Rocks

On the SE work, I'd strongly recommend against adding weight just because week 1 felt easy. 3x40 is a lot more than twice as hard as 3x20. Thanks! What do you think about replacing barbell squats with goblet squats (using a light KB)?? Or should I just stick with it and finish BB as planned? I tend...

Re: Sacie's Training Log

Just keep an eye on how you recover, and keep your E's nice and easy. Fats are good/needed for your brain & endocrine system, so you might want to look into that aspect! :)

Re: Hip Mobility

For hip mobility, I like the third world squat. Practice it throughout the day until it gets comfortable. I'm in law enforcement and I do it at work to keep loose as well. https://www.t-nation.com/training/third-world-squat +1 on these! I actually got better at these via the prying goblet squats. I...

Go very slowly with the goblet squats at first, and keep it super light!

Re: Aiwacht's Log

To make a long story short, I'll update when I get the chance but I joined a local VERY country gym and so am working on some things I couldn't do in the yard to see where my baselines are. Using a ZULU-esque plan and a bit of LP to get the groove & find some numbers on squats, db bench, and th...
