You need to remember that Conor was an mma fighter in a boxing match with one the the greats of boxing. You get Floyd Wrestling or doing BJJ and Conor would have the better conditioning of the two. "Cardio" is sport specific and while there is carryover, nothing beats years of experience ...

For the sci-fi buffs....I just cracked open book 1 of the Expanse series. Came very highly recommended, it was put to me by a trustworthy source that it was right "up there with Game of Thrones". Will update as I progress.

I usually don't do special prep anymore, my regular training keeps me gtg. But if for whatever reason I want to tighten up on my times then I like to do a little extra in training so that the actual pft seems easier. Ex. We usually test our 1.5 on a track, 6 laps, so I'll do 7 in training.

CLA Experiences?

So a trainer I respect recommends CLA for stubborn fat loss and general health/anti-inflammatory properties. Anyone have any firsthand experience with this stuff?
