Re: Medic / first aid drills

I'm LEO /ERT.

Those are good points!
We're always training with training stuff inside the original IFAKs so everyone has to use them as realistic as possible.
Low light training is something we really have to do next time.

Hi there, I'm providing our units first aid training as our team medic. Our members doing "basic stuff" like a first bodycheck / bloodsweep (cabcde...), handling of critical bleeding with tourniquets and bandages, treating chest injuries (chest seal) and providing BLS. So I'm looking for i...

Re: 2 minute rule

Thank you for your answers!
It's really not about hypertrophy but about the time spent in the weightroom. But I'll stick to the two minutes ;)

2 minute rule

A short question about the 2 min rule: As far as I understood the book the rule is for minimizing hypertrophy while maximizing strength gains. Hypertrophy isn't a main goal of mine but it wouldn't be any problem if i gain weight. So would it minimize the strength gains if I do the exercises of op in...

Need some mass

Hey guys, I did TB Operator for almost a year now and had quite good results. Now, however, I have to get a little bit more mass. I'm 1,88m (6,16ft) tall with 85kg (187lbs) and a body fat rate of approx. 10%. I passed all tests and now, due to the upcoming tasks, I should gain a few kg in the nexts ...

Re: Problem with squats

A quick review: I tested a very conservative Back Squat Max. and took a 90% training max. It felt a bit better every training but after week 4 I got a crazy pain in my SI-Joint which got me rolling on a tennis ball for 4 days, unable to train in any way. Now I'm finishing the 6 weeks with just the u...

Re: Problem with squats

Thank your for your tips! I will start with Bulgarian split squats and work on my squat technique. And also on my pistol technique to be able to do them as an other alternative on my way to squats. Would you do Bulgarians with a 2min break between the legs or do both legs and then have the break? An...

Re: Problem with squats

Thanks for the reply!
I'll do the cluster with Bulgarian split squats and do goblet squats for warm up. Also I'll do lunges and sled pushing in the conditioning workouts, so I hope my legs get enough attention.
Trap bar would be great, but I don't have access to one unfortunately.

Problem with squats

Hi, I plan doing TB Operator with beginning of next year and I’d like to use the Swat Cluster. The Problem: I’m feeling really shaky when doing back squats and get more back and hip pain from them than anything else. Some trainers said, it may be because I’m relatively tall (1,90m) and got long legs...
