Re: How to select HIC exercises when running Black?

Currently doing similar. BLK OP PRO 2 HIC and 1 E. Using strictly HIC 1-10 as I would like to decrease my 5k run time. Only on week 1 though so I’ll let you know how it goes. Fast 5/ hills/ 1 E sessions is what I chose. Sometimes I’ll add some easy Z2 air bike after my lifting of time permits just t...

Re: Weekly HIC Discussion - Meat Eater II

May give that a shot. I took 6 or so months off and applied some TB principles to KB only training. Did the “dry fighting weight” workout 3x a week and on HIC days did KB snatches and various cardio implements. Just hopped on BLK OP PRO again. With FS WPU Clean Jerk. Didn’t feel the need to base bui...

Re: New HIC - Gurkha Lift and Carry

The way I understood via the write up, differs from The video. In the video it appears they’re doing multiple reps carrying the bag- where the write up discusses dropping the bag as soon as you pass the first line. I only ask bc constantly picking up the bag can affect your time greatly. Either way-...

Re: Operator 4x/Week - Pure Strength Athlete

Run OP+BLACK as you were doing, use 4-5 sets. Eat more protein or even food in general

You'll get stronger, and still keep conditioning up. Hypertrophy will come with more sets, and more protein

Re: Variety in HIC

well I tried it last night- the 10x50 free sprint, is a smoker lol. Been a while since I've done that. Used 90 seconds rest between each to try and get good recovery. Definitely going to continue using this in some fashion. body felt good today, 95% lifts all went up much smoother than they did on M...

Re: Variety in HIC

I'm going to start adding some SWIM HIC's I believe either fortnightly, or on my 3/6 weeks where percentages are high. The goal is to keep my skills in the pool, and not let them deteriorate. Thought process is a swim HIC will have less wear and tear during heavy squat weeks than say…..hill or sled ...
