Cardiac remodelling in strength and endurance athletes
It looks that TB is right on the money! http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2300466/ "Due to an increased dynamic load, the heart of the endurance athlete responds predominantly with eccentric hypertrophy. Endurance-trained hearts are subject to increased volume and pressure loading, le...

Re: That little voice is telling me…
Srsly Barbadian, I'm not making this up. I've probably missed 1 or 2 squat reps so far this year, so it's not like it's killing my progress, but that little bit of nagging doubt prevents me from hitting that last set - the one that might fail or you might just make it. It's rather annoying. BMB, It...

Re: Favorite Conditioning Session?
I really like Fobbit Intervals and Meat-Eater ii. As for GC sessions I try to use them once a week, usually I used GC 2 with horizontal rows instead of pullups. Beat Your Face is my favourite GC when I travel without KB. Sometimes I exchanged GC with other workouts (eg.from Rosstraining). My most pa...

Re: Eat your meat
Very interesting. This validates my choice of protein shake, post-workout: 2 scoops of whey protein+ I prefer ON gold strawberry, 2 scoops in water, with 5 g creatine monohydrate, and an apple or peach or a handful of fresh berries or something on the side. That's 50 g protein, post workout. I work...

Re: Favorite Conditioning Session?
Meat Eater 2 is my favorite so far. I do Airbaike indoor intervals as well and I hate it
I'm doing abbreviated version of GC 10 for my easy weeks substituting Jog for Airbike. Like it as well. I am planning to beat my face eventually..

Eat your meat
Don't get old, or go for Meat Eater by all means. http://link.springer.com/article/10.1007%2Fs40279-016-0504-2 "older muscle appears to retain the capacity to display a robust stimulation of muscle protein synthesis in response to the ingestion of greater doses of protein (~40 g), and such an a...
