usually i train after work, which sometimes can be later than 8pm. i try to eat a good snack before hand, but i can still be starving by the end of it.
similar to you, i can run in the morning on an empty stomach and not be hungry.

10 miles, 2 minutes/mile slower than race pace. (could go less, since you are aiming at 2 miles, not 6.)

- what race pace? 2-minutes slower than a 10-mile race pace, or the 2-mile race pace? guessing the latter...

Starving After LSS
when i do my weekly 1 hour LSS, i'm usually starving by the end of it. i typically eat an apple and 1.5 cups of cottage cheese about an hour before i run, but by the end of it, i'm ready to eat anything in sight. take this compared to MS, SE, or my BJJ, and i actually don't have much of an appetite ...
