Re: Why do you train?
Thanks for posting Bark. Much respect to JW, his programming is world class One thought that’s always stuck with me since my wrestling days is your “opponent” and his training habits. He’s training when you are training, except harder and in worse conditions. He’s training when you are resting. He’s...

Re: Equipment you need and don't need
Rob Shaul at Mountain Tactical Institute released two articles on the gym equipment they use the most and gym equipment that were a bust for his programming. As the crowds in these two communities are similar I thought paste these articles here and start a discussion. 12 pieces of equipment they us...

Re: Switching to Zulu I/A
Would you place some sort of Pressing and WPUs on day #6? Bark, for me, that setup would allow me to get my conditioning done during the week and I wouldn't really need to do anything on Day 6. I could have two full days off. For Tyr, I don't know his time needs or what he wants to do in his circui...

Re: Switching to Zulu I/A
Day 6: whatever is missing I think this layout will keep your legs and hips fresher. But that may be me being past my prime talking. Would you place some sort of Pressing and WPUs on day #6? Re: Switching to Zulu I/A
Tyr, I've run more Zulu than Operator, just because it is easier for my schedule. What I might consider is running it like this: Day 1: SQ, some conditioning or circuits Day 2: Farmers walks, swings, then some short HIC or your circuits Day3: LSS if you need it Day 4: SQ, some conditioning or circu...

Switching to Zulu I/A
I’m planning on switching to Zulu I/A with a back squat/deadlift cluster. Need to hammer my conditioning for the next 8-12 weeks. Estimating 2 two a days a week . With the single strength lift per session I want to hit a circuit training using kettlebells and body weight movements. For endurance, I ...

Re: G2B to Strongman
I posted in my old log of how I recently competed in my first strongman. KB suggested I put some of my vids in here. Before I do I want to explain what relevancy this has to TB. I’m still a massive fan of TB and want to give credit where credit is due. I ran TB for a couple years. During that time ...

Re: TB training goals for 2018
*Most importantly.. stay injury free.
*Complete both S&S goals at 40kg(almost there)
*Work on overall trail running and backpacking endurance.
*2x BW back squat and 2.5x BW deadlift

Re: Accessory Work for wrestling
Hello guys, So currently I am running the operator template, bench/squat/deadlift cluster 3x a week. The the other three days I am running the base building conditioning work, so right now it is just 3 endurance sessions, with the mandatory 1 day off per week. I wrestle 2x/week at the moment and am...

Re: Switching templates mid-cycle.
Thanks for all the advice. Just a question, where can I find OP I/A? I currently have TB 2 and can't really find it in there. As for some of the questions I got here: I'm not on a low carb, couldn't survive that :D. I am doing conditioning quite actively along with mandatory self-defense classes, w...
