Re: OHP vs Bench
Do them both. Use the BP in your max-strength cluster, and get in some push-press and kettlebell swings during your conditioning, SE, etc. Every once in a while do a block of OHP for max-strength. The bench primarily emphasizes the pectorals & anterior delts, with a secondary effect on the media...

Re: Base Building Options
Could be wrong but I think Grouchyjarhead is running this or something like it right now in his training log.
Personally I think it's a fantastic idea, and I'm planning on doing it for my next BB. I would add in some sort of press; push-ups, push-press, MP, or something.

Re: How many HIC
Thank You for your answers. Really Appreciate. Just a last question. Will I still progress with 2 instead of 3 conditionning per week or it will be mainly maintenance? Dude, you're unnecessarily overthinking things. There is a template created for you. Created exactly for your goal: Black Standard....

Re: How many HIC
Yes but in increased strength focus it says not to do any E after BB. That's why I was confused. I wanted to know in general that's why I didn't say any fitness goal. But my goal are more, being healthy, lose the extra fat and gain a little muscle while being able to have a decent cardio but nothin...

Re: How many HIC
How many conditioning do you usually do with black each week. In the book it says min 2 HIC min 1 E every other week but min 3 conditioning per week. So I thought that the week I don't do E I should do 3 HIC. But the more I read on the forum I get the impression that a lot of people are doing 2 HIC...

Re: Tactical strength challenge
Run a TSC specific phase a couple months out: Consider something specialized, like this: Operator w Deadlift (DL 3 x week) followed by SE circuits containing only KB Snatch + pullups as a finisher. So just 3 exercises, 3 x week for 6-8 weeks before competition. Your session might look like this: Dea...

Yup, I've been doing this too, works like a charm. If you're the type that feels like you've been hit by a truck after deadlift day give it a shot.

Re: Vitamin D - Don't Get Carried Away
Just made a post on the reddit about this very thing, D causing joint and bone pain, possibly because of not taking co-factor K with it. Something to do with how K helps D shuttle calcium to the correct areas.
