Re: Equipment you need and don't need

Atomic Athlete is great in that alot of the programming is 3 days a week and allows you to do stuff on the side. The sessions are very similar to Mil athlete just a bit shorter and more focused on GPP. I used the Maximum Overdrive Program for my last Strength Focused basebuild and had some excellen...

Re: Equipment you need and don't need

I have 4, technically 5 out of the 8 that didn’t make it if you count a DIY GHR device as similar to a GHD haha. In general, I would say that people work and plan for what they have, and is within their price range. For example, personally I started with a set of dumbbells (which I still have) at a...

Re: Equipment you need and don't need

I think this is your 3rd strike ;) I love Military Athletes programming. I just wish I could maintain the volume and also do sport/have a life. Atomic Athlete is another site I regularly visit with similar programming. They train 3-4 days a week for most sessions and they are more sustainable. The ...

Equipment you need and don't need

Rob Shaul at Mountain Tactical Institute released two articles on the gym equipment they use the most and gym equipment that were a bust for his programming. As the crowds in these two communities are similar I thought paste these articles here and start a discussion. 12 pieces of equipment they use...

Re: Beginner's Guide to Rucking

I should have posted this here, and not on K.B.'s post. Great article! You did a really nice job making rucking simple, what you need to get started, weight and distant progressions. Overall, a good solid educational article! It makes me want to get into rucking! Who would expect that from old Bark...

Re: TB training goals for 2018

I've thought about this more than I should have. 1. Work on my PT, so hit 100 push-ups and 100 curl-ups in 2 minutes and work on that 1.5 mile run. 2. Be around 200-205 bodyweight. 3. Work on my 3 mile and 6 mile run times. 4. Get the 100 1 handed swings with my 24KG bell back 5. Hit 10 bodyweight p...

Re: Cheap option for GHD

I will be:) It takes few weeks to get the thing. I am thinking of finishers and some variations of Fobbits. Mix the GHD with some swings... Getting out of bed in the morning, or climbing the stairs would be interesting. I don’t know, mate. Failing picking up my twins from the floor might compromise...

Re: Movie/Netflix Recommendation Thread

I had to struggle through the first two or three episodes, but now it is getting good.
