Been sleeping like garbage this week but somehow last set of the week still feeling easier. Maybe because I've been replacing protein with carbs.

Still lifting baby weight, but think I'm getting a much better feel for the deadlift as pieces are falling into place. Must be from doing it 3x a week.

Back rehab

Always feel much stronger in judo after deadlifts. Stretching lately is also paying off; feel ridiculously flexible during groundwork.

Agility work after normal practice.

Notes
Whatever awesome feeling I had during deadlifts the last week is gone. No pinching feeling in my lower back anymore though since I started lifting again, so I can only assume that my form has improved massively. Lower back still weak though, have trouble with rehab exercises. Need to work rehab into my routine better.

Lifts were a bit tough at the beginning of the week but were much more solid by the end.

I may have made a mistake. Have been doing mini-blocks of 3 weeks MS/2 weeks SE, which worked really well, and left me feeling awesome for judo. Last mini-block of MS was incredulously good and I decided to continue it as a full 6 week block in an attempt to maximize bear gains. 2nd workout in my 75% week and the weight was feeling heavier than it did at 90% and had zero energy for judo. Skipped the 3rd workout for the week and going to do 1-2 weeks of Simple.

Another problem I'm running into is I had planned for 3 sessions of judo Saturday, but was already exhausted after just 1. May need to switch to a 2day MS template to preserve energy for judo, but never feel like I make any progress when I only lift twice a week.

Might be worth trying PttP which looks like less intensity, more frequency, if I can't figure things out.
