the squats are feeling fine, i dont own the weight of the bench yet. will decide at the end of the week if im gonna retest or repeat the block. will probably retest. my guess is that squats + deadlifts are up by ~10kg, bench just about 2.5-5kg and pullups in the area of 6-8.
last time the improvements were a bit higher, but i felt like i didnt grow into those numbers yet. lets see, still too early to tell.
the excitement to retest is definitely there :D

that ends my 6 week block.
conclusion:
i enjoyed the sessions and got stronger for sure. muscles feel a bit thicker and more resilient. had fun but a goal was kinda missing.
for the next few weeks and even months i want to concentrate a bit more on running using the daniels running formula.
Got two 5k races in mind; in april/may + september of 2020. Want to break the 20min there at least and see how far i can go.
I wont neglect my strength training though and keep with fighter. Will stay with the same lifting numbers for the next 6 weeks.
If time and energy allows i'll try to mix some mma in :)

Im back! (as said a 1000 times before)
Sadly i hurt my knee doing MMA in october and had to pause for 1 1/2 months. I didnt tear my acl but the pain was permanent and i couldnt walk at all.
In december i trained with no certain goal in mind, doing some light kettlebell work and LSS runs. Had some momentum again but got sick and had to rest for 2 weeks with the flu.
The injury + sickness pulled me into a slump again. Had other plans. Whatever, thats life.
All i did from 1st of january to now is MMA/Luta Livre/Muay Thai about 3 times a week, some Simple & Sinister and easy runs.

Well at least i lost some weight since september dropping from 96kg to 88kg.
I dont have any bench marks right now- runs felt good, didnt touch a barbell in forever.

Decided to stop fooling around and tackle my goal of joining my state SWAT team.
Some things that i need to be competitive
70-75kg bench press (20 reps+)
BW pullups (20-25reps+)
6k run (22min)
speed for the obstacle course
work capacity for a 60-90min circuit

Harsh reality:
i feel like i cant even put up 75kg on the bench for more than 3 reps.
I need to improve. All around. Period.

Some events this year will be a 5k in april, september, a 21km OCR in may and a 42km OCR in september.

3rd of february is the start of my new cycle.
Fighter + Black Pro; FSQ,BP,(W)PU,DL

Cant live without some MMA so im gonna have 2-4 additional sessions.

Be.consisent.just.for.once.ffs. :)

tested my maxes yesterday.

100kg squat
120kg deadlift
75kg bench
7 pullups
were comfortable with a clean form. A good start for my training maxes. Could have lifted about 15kg more in the sq and dl and about 7.5kg in the bench but i want to go easy and slow into barbells again. I know that the numbers are quite low and i need to work on my general strength. Hopefully my knee stays healthy, thats all :)

Friday 31.01.2020
600m resets @2:20min
4min rest
x6

total distance was 6.5km. Used the rest for easy walking. Feels good to do some speed work again.

Sunday 09.02.2020
Had to do my Fighter W2 today, no access to the gym tomorrow.
80%
4x5 Squat 80kg
5x5 Bench 60kg
3x5 Deadlift 95kg
5x5 Pullups BW

- been increasing my food intake for the last few days and it makes a big difference. Was kinda cautious because i tend to gain fat rather easy; decided not to care about aesthetics and weight anymore. Performance is the goal.
The lifting session was surprisingly easy, had no problems at all.

- its hard trying to be a tactical athlete sometimes. My powerlifter friends outlift me, the runners are much faster, the BJJ specialists outgrapple me and the boxers outstrike me. Its fine though :D

First week summary:
2x Fighter (count the session today for next week)
2x Combat sports (1x Striking, 1x Grappling)
3x Conditioning (1x LSS, 1xCircuit,1x Speed-E-Lad.)

Monday 10.02.2020
AM:
Fobbits, 20min
easy shadowboxing instead of running.

PM:
60min of Luta Livre.
- 30-35min leg lock entries and finishes
- 5x5min rolling
first 2 rounds were more technical, the other 3 pretty hard ones.
Bruised my ribs in the last round, fell really uncomfortable. Of course it had to happen.

Tuesday 11.02.2020
rest.
The pain didnt let me train today. Think i need some time off from the mat for some weeks.
Some running or easy training the next days hopefully.
