And now I got Covid/omikron inside my house. GF and kids infected. Guess next weeks training will have to be home based…

Thank you! The worst part is keeping away from BJJ! I managed almost two years without getting it, suppose I had a good run.. Have been getting negative tests until now, almost dissapointed, kinda just want to get it and be done with it. Booked a PCR test tomorrow, time will show

Westside programming, even with 3-5 rm’s instead of 1 rm’s was to much for me. Did 3 BJJ workouts last week, with some heavy sparring, and there was nothing left to lift with, left bicep felt like ot was going to explode for several days, so took a week of strength.. Back to Fighter programming then.. note to self: if something works, don’t change everything, just make tweaks when needed.

14/2-22 - BJJ
2 hours, held back on sparring

15/2-22 - Strength
1: SSB: 5x90 kg x 3
2: MP: 5x57,5 kg x 3
3a: Reverse hyperextentions: 3x15 x 15 kg
3b: Cable row, 2 sec iso hold on top: 3x10 x 45 kg

16/2-22 - HIC, Fobbit
1a: Rope jumps, 2 min
1b: Low handle sled push sprint: 20 m x 50 kg
1c: Rope jumps, 2 min
1d: Farmers walk: 40 m x 40 kg+ handles (80-100 kg total, don’t know how heavy the handles are)

good luck. i tested positive on the "pregnancy" test too. funnily enough, was feeling pretty crappy the night before, but things went on the mend after that so that's something to take heart from.

Hope you got a relatively mild version of it! felt like I had a usual «cold+», but the coughing and feeling of beeing tired doesn’t quite let go yet
