Note: knee issues seem to really be resolving. Ankle issue is nearly sorted. I think this year is where I really might have to acknowledge that I’m 40 and not in my late 20s or early 30s anymore haha. Times were a bit slower than usual but I haven’t run as much this block as I have in prior base building blocks.
Load management above anything else needs to be key for me, the will to push things is forever there, and this is why after this block I have to adhere to templates to stay reigned in, I feel I have gotten away from that a bit, last year in particular and it’s led to a few of these overuse issues that I’ve had to work around. Lesson well and truly learned.
Good to get out on the track again and a good start to the day.
