Went OK. Think I'm going to switch to the Russian Fighter plan for the chinups.

Was feeling kind of "meh" going into this because of work stuff, but decided to go through with it and actually got a decent workout in. Also, my mood felt better when I was done. Maybe this is what "self care" is about?

Coming back from some health issues that kept me out of the gym for a while. Figured I'd start the block over for the barbell lifts, but I matched my previous step in the Russian fighter progression. Nice to see that I can still do 4 chinups in a row (even if the last one in the second set was a griiiiiind). Need to have an operation at the start of February, and the doc said no heavy lifting for 2 weeks after, so my short-term goal is to get as much strength as possible in January.

Kind of disappointed I couldn't do more chinups, but my arms just gave out. I have all kinds of DOMS, so I guess I wasn't fully recovered. But I ran unexpectedly fast, which was a pleasant surprise.
