TB OP PRO I/A
Strength Session 5

Sandbag Extension 2x2 90kg

Back Squat Work to 1RM 110kg

3rounds
Benchpress x5 70kg
1 Arm row x3 32kg KB

It was meant to be peak day but the lower back was feeling rough so I took it pretty easy. I hit 110kg for an easy single and was easily good for an 8/10 rep at 120. I am pretty light at the moment (75kg) so that puts me at around 1.8x bodyweight. The body is not cooperating lately so I am just lifting to tick that box. Hopefully I can get things working right and start actually progressing.

I am going to spend a period of training outside the Tactical barbell system to prepare for a work selection. I love this system of training and think it is the best for general strength and conditioning, I just need some specific prep work after falling short previously due to my own prep failures. I will be taking a break from my log for a while. I still will pop back in occasionally to see how the regulars are going.

It's going to be weird as I have posted my training here for nearly 6 years now.

Cheers mate. I miss the simplicity and effectiveness of the TB system. I will end up back here in the long run, just taking a trip into a different training system for a while.
