Re: TB with Sciatica
Why don't run BB? Some KB/DB/BW drills for rehab and swimming for LSS if you live near pond or lake. It is summertime after all. ;) If not - try unilateral cluster. Lunges, Bulgarian split squats, One leg DL something like that. It doesn't require very heavy load. Another option - One leg assisted ...

TB with Sciatica
So anyone run TB with a herniated disk? Just tried starting running operator with squat bench pull ups. Haven’t been consistent in the gym since my injury 6 months ago But this was the first time I tried squatting again and 2 days later I’m back with sciatic pain. I can do leg press and have done sq...

Re: 20 days to train for a half marathon. Advice.
my personal definition of a "fit" guy is someone who can finish a 10k run pretty much on demand (disregard time). 21km is probably a bit trickier but if you are pretty fit to start with I reckon you just need to take it slow before the race, and maybe do a slow 10k and 15k before the race...

Re: 20 days to train for a half marathon. Advice.
20 days? My only 2 pieces of advice would be to 1) throw out any goals and 2) just try to go progressively longer as you get closer. The only question I would ask is this: If you haven't been doing any E work whatsoever, what possessed you to sign up for a half-marathon that's 20 days away? :?: Hon...

UPDATE: 20 days to train for a half marathon. Advice.
Well I decided to sign up for a Half marathon in 20 days. What is the best way to train for this? My goal is just to get it done in less than 2 hours and 15 minutes. I haven’t been doing any E sessions really other than playing pickleball for 3-4 hours straight lol. Obviously not ideal to train for ...

OHP is so underrated
My shoulders and triceps have never looked better in my life. Dropped bench because of shoulder impingement issues and subbed in OHP for the past couple months and I can see a huge difference. Running Mass protocol fighter and seeing awesome gains.

Stairmaster 20 mins with 35 lbs in backpack. HIC, SE, or E?
Firefighter here. I like to do the stair master for 20 mins with 35 lbs in a backpack at least once a week since it’s a big part of my job. Just curious what would I consider this kind of condition workout to be? I didn’t have my Apple Watch on today so I didn’t get an average heart rate but I took ...

What’s a realistic goal for my E sessions?
So I just did a 120 min run with an average heart rate of 144. I only ran 8 miles in this time. If I program E correctly like in a Green protocol while lifting 2-3x a week, can I expect to run a half marathon in this same time frame while averaging the same heart rate? How feasible is this goal? Ano...

Re: Grey Man without Bench
You could use floor press instead of bench if you still want a horizontal press movement, or you could just do OHP every session. I find that full ROM bench press kills my shoulder but partial ROM lifts, like floor press or board press, are tolerable. I've also had success using barbell rows instea...
