Re: Rucking
Make a sand pill. Here is the easy way: Go to the garden section at Home Depot, Wal Mart, etc. Buy the following: 1. Bag of filler (pebbles, sand, whatever) that weighs enough. Lava rocks are lighter, pebbles/sand are heavier. 2. Contractor trash bags. The thick ones. 3. Roll of gorilla tape. By usi...

Re: Base Building start over!
Just be reasonable enough with you nutrition and eat to train. +1. This is it. Just be honest with yourself. Simply, "Am I being ridiculous right now?" For example, if I eat six tacos at 0200? Kind of ridiculous. Two tacos? No big deal. Just don't do it all the time. You don't have to be ...

Re: 10 days off - not good
Long flights can cause the soreness you describe, including delayed soreness. Especially if your body is not used to flying like that. It helps to stretch as able during the flight, and get a good stretch in ASAP when you get off the plane. But long flights just wreck your body in general. There's r...

Re: Home Gym Equipment
Below is how I would prioritize purchases for a TB home gym. I did not include an Olympic bar, bumper plates, and platform. I personally would not use those tools at home by myself. Too much risk and expense for the reward IMO. The bike and rower might be extravagances. Doesn't cost anything to type...

Serial Season 1 (Adnan Syed) Serial Season 2 (Bergdahl). Got a little tedious at times. Overall worth listening to it. Pin Kings (by ESPN..."The astonishing story of how two wrestling teammates from Miami came to oppose each other in the cocaine wars -- one as a drug smuggler, the other as a DE...

Looking forward to using this as my cluster in Fighter toward the end of Base Building and then with Operator after BB. Though I can't do actual bodyweight pull ups (yet), I am lucky to have access to an assistance machine. I do want to pick up some bands though and do it that way. Even if you can'...
