The reddit OP is doing 5-7 warm-up sets, so that explains his 90+min MS sessions. I would never say someone is wrong for warming up, but I'm not sure how 5-7 warm-up sets squares with the principal of lowest effective dose - which for me is part of the magic of TB. My two cents on calculating weights for pull-ups (I also weigh about 240): I just wing it. Currently, I use BW for week 1, add a 35lb plate for week 2, add a second 35lb plate for week 3. Repeat.
