FYI, one practice around here is to cap pull-ups or chins at 20 for SE....so all the other exercises progress as per normal but pull-ups don't go any higher than 20 reps. But I like your method too, 5 rep mini-sets is a smart way to go.

Re: TB Birthday (A year in review)
That kind of result in a year is outstanding. Keep at it, your running will catch up!

Great job @Grouchyjarhead! Have you used Bravo SE? If so any pros/cons between the two that you noticed?

If you are a DIYer, Alton Brown has a protein bar recipe that isn't very tough at all and you'll know exactly what goes into them - and you can change that, if you want. Add less brown sugar, choose different fruits, add chocolate at whatever semi-sweet level you want. I've used water in place of a...

Re: Training for Tier 1
I've experienced a tremendous strength development just these past 3 weeks during Base Building. Great job! I just keep showing up and putting out and I will progress. No judgement in advance. Just keep being consistent and analyze after a little while down the road. This needs to be stickied in ne...

Re: Why is OP I/A different in TB1 & TB2?
The first version (in TB2) is more like a traditional lifting program. Bigger cluster, but less frequency. The 2nd version goes back to Op roots of high lift frequency while sacrificing variety. It also gives you that optional extra rest day, along with the choice to go up as high as 10 sets per lif...

Neat. I'd be very interested in seeing where your iron and copper levels are right now.Barkadion wrote:It has been almost 2 weeks since i stopped taking Zinc. I do feel much better. Less "fatique like" feelings and better recovery.
I am not sure if I should go back to it with lower dose ~15mg.

Re: Programming around a weak knee
Hi everyone! I've been on TB since November and things are going great - solid progress on all lifts and actual PRs on the pullups: from 185x3 to 231x2 reps in about six months. For the last few months I've been doing operator + black with a bench/squat/WPU cluster. It's all gone well except my kne...

I like Quest bars from a quality standpoint...taste-wise meh. The double chocolate chunk is fairly tasty though.
