Re: Ageless Athlete Discussion Thread
Hi Jim, Bought your book a couple of days ago and I'm really enjoying it so far! This isn't really a question about your book but I'm wondering since you've completed the S&S program. When you reached the sinister goal, how was your conditioning (aerobic & anaerobic) and strength? How was th...

I should've emphasized that I'm not looking to finish first. I'll give it my all but I'm not concerned with competitive times.

Re: Base Building Part Two
That my problem, I would do the race in two months time so there's just enough time to do BB. If I had more time, I'd probably do it the way you suggest. Thanks for the reply!

Re: Base Building Part Two
Thanks, I was thinking about working up to a 10k as well. Shouldn't be that much of a problem, I've done more in the past.

Base Building Part Two
Hi everyone, I'm planning to run my second BB block during the coming months. I've done it last year and trained with OP/Black for the rest of the year. I feel my aerobic conditioning could use an upgrade after a year. Questions: - I would like to enter an obstacle race in May. I've never done that ...

Re: TB for a Meathead
first block 3 sets, next block 4 sets with the same weights and finally 5 sets with the same weights. Force progression and start all over with 3 sets. My .02 I definitely think you're on the right track by not forcing progression. Stick to the same weights, slowly increase # of sets and allow your...
