Why is I/A shorter than a standard block?

Perhaps my knowledge of programming is incorrect, but I have always been under the assumption that the more advanced you get, the slower progression is. So wouldn't it make since for the standard blocks to be shorter than the I/A blocks?

Hey, guys. I am trying to work out my programming but I want to make sure I am doing it right. Would you mind taking a look at this and let me know if I am mistaken? TB3: Mass vs. Gladiator?

Am I missing something or is the only difference between Mass and Gladiator that the latter includes OHP and more DL volume?
