Re: Using the time between sets
Hello there! I started with the TM-Tests / 1RM-Tests for my lifts and I always waited for a minimum of 2 minutes between sets (golden rule). If I for example will do 5x5 Squat / 5x5 Bench / 5x5 WPUs this will need a lot of time (with warmup, changing weights etc.). How do you use this time? Between...

Re: TB strength training while on duty (firefighter)

MCT Oil?
Any experience with this? I've heard good things in terms of energy, and maybe fat burning... Thinking of giving it a try.

Re: Endurance Athletes: High Protein Intake
Big bump. Finished my annual Base Training on Sunday. This time around I did 1gm pro/lb of bodyweight + 30gm protein shake before bed, religiously, every single day. I felt MUCH better throughout in terms of recovery and energy. Body composition stayed great relative to past BBs. Prior BB I didn't r...
I could quite comfortably say that if I did OP I/A + Black with a base build every 6 months I would be prepared for anything.
Man, this is the exact conclusion I came to.

Re: Neurotransmitter Profile and training
Just came across this information. There is a theory out-there saying that greatest determining factor of an athlete’s physiology is their Neurotransmitter Profile. They say that: - Dopamine dominant athletes respond best to intensity - Acetyl Choline dominant athletes respond best to variety - Tho...

Re: LE Physical Fitness Test Help/Advice
Anecdotally, after only doing SE for a few months in the summer and returning to MS in the fall, my max bench press actually improved. So that made me think....what's the point (of MS for me)? Read up on how MS and SE work with each other, lots of resources with a simple google search. Dropping MS ...

Re: LE Physical Fitness Test Help/Advice
Looking over this thread looks like you need a hard reset. The impression I get skimming seems like when you followed a TB protocol properly, you improved. Then for some reason you started mixing and matching stuff, neglected MxS, and it's become some kind of jumble. Max strength most definitely has...
