Re: Getting started as an overweight beginner

Some great advises here. I'd add my 2c by saying: - Make sure you train safely. Take time to develop good technique with compound lifts. - Make performance your priority. Make sure you can train year around with consistent training schedule succeeding with prescribed sets/reps/ conditioning protoco...

x 2. This is the very definition of consistency in training, awesome seeing it pay off. Fantastic log, one of the handful I follow regularly.

Re: DeAndre Hopkins "Secret" to Durability

I just heard an interview with DeAndre Hopkins that immediately brought TB to mind. I live near Houston so I'm a Texans fan. On the local news the other day a local reporter was interviewing DeAndre Hopkins and asked him how he was so durable and how he had so much energy in the fourth quarter. DeA...

Isn't that what TB is....? lol :)

Love Ross. Find him and KB have a very similar style of communicating and preach the same virtues. I often sub in WCs, GPPs, and warrior workouts as HICs when I run Black.

Re: Experience with DL 3x week with OP I/A

I love to Deadlift. Anyone have experience with Deadlifting instead of Squat in their block? Right now I'm running Sq/Bench/Wpu with Deadlift every 3rd workout. I tried this years back with one of Pavel's programs, just a press and DL. In theory it sounded great, but in practice frequent DL'ng tire...

Re: HIC Options/Suggestions

I'm in the same boat, there's so many ways to tweak and run the HICs & GCs that I rarely stray. But when I do shake it up a little my go-to is Ross Enamait's Magic 50 and his numbered GPP workouts in Infinite Intensity. Everyone should experience the Magic 50 at least once! How is the book? I'm...

Re: HIC Options/Suggestions

You can google "Fartlek running" and/or look into Ross E. books.. Personally, I found that I can get plenty of different modes/varieties just by being creative with TB material.. Just imho... I have a ton of ideas... I was kind of just looking to see what other TBers are doing. I've seen ...
