Re: BCAAs vs Whey Protein...What's the Difference?

Well.. That's controversial topic.. https://examine.com/supplements/branched-chain-amino-acids/ Controversial how? What am I not seeing in your link? You will see "No significant alterations" claims if you dig through their Human Effect Matrix. Such as "Similar to the other catechola...

Re: Unconventional Base Build and Green Protocol Advice

I've noticed running helps rucking, and vice versa, so to hit both is ideal. Man, great observation. x 2 on everything Tango and Grouchy said. Being a good distance or pace runner doesn't translate equally to being able to ruck comfortably for days. I actually tested it last block (no running, just...

Re: PFT Tips Thread

Great stuff gents!! Thanks for contributing. Here's another that should be common sense, but I see people fucking up all the time... Use specificity. When doing SE, make sure your SE clusters contain all your PFT exercises. When choosing HIC and E, stick to the running and sprinting sessions....don'...

PFT Tips Thread

TBers, in light of all the PFT threads asking the same things I thought it might be a good idea to collect all our best PFT, APFT, LEPFT tips in one place. This isn't a place to ask advice for your pet personal problem, rather a place to contribute a piece or two of hard earned knowledge; training r...

I don't know enough about boxing to make any sort of judgement, but to my untrained eye it looks like a knock down.

It is. But some people aren't there yet with the SE. It can be challenging for those coming from a strength-only background.

Re: SE length questions

It's an "endurance" category workout, so I see it as a benefit going long duration. It's muscular- endurance after all. If you do run into issues you could always switch to Alpha too. I would not switch to Tango. IMO it's too easy to quit too early with T. With Alpha or Bravo you're forced...

Re: Training for Tier 1

Awesome log Snake Regarding Easy Strength, it was really really good in theory, but in practice I lost 1RM strength on half my lifts and barely maintained on the remaining half. It was a little too minimalist in terms of volume/per lift/per session to really stimulate anything or cause change/adapta...
