Ah so the pendulum swings.... first we used to demonize aerobic training now we're going the other way. Someone should let Ross Enamait know.
I love Pavel and recommend ETK to everyone I meet, but I'll take this one with a big fat grain of salt (if he in fact preaches this).

Re: Technique Cues
Good thread idea. I have no idea if this is an "official" cue but I find keeping my chest up when I squat helps my form big time.

Re: Base Building Part Two
That my problem, I would do the race in two months time so there's just enough time to do BB. If I had more time, I'd probably do it the way you suggest. Thanks for the reply! I ultimately tried the deep breathing excercises, but I felt sort of dumb just breathing on the floor and taking a cold shower. Maybe I'm doing it wrong, but I didn't feel superhuman. I just felt dumb and cold. Hahaha. Glad I'm not the only one. Cold showers didn't do squat for me other than wake m...

Re: KB conditioning question

They'll give you a little bit of conditioning/ like anything you do that forces you to move a little harder than normal....but unfortunately they're no substitute for roadwork. On the other hand most of the time they're not intense enough...
