Order of exercises; Pros & Cons?

I've seen some advocate that you should squat before you bench, and others bench before you squat...is there some evidence showing one is better than the other, or perhaps pros and cons for each? What do you do and why?

I think as long as at least one of your weekly Es is tempo or faster than 130-150bpm then you won't need the HIC. Get in a timed 5-6 miler, do Fartleks, FunRuns and timed rucks and you'll be covered. I typically program blocks around specific goals, e.g. GORUCK events. I will plan up to that one, then during that block look towards the next one. you can get some ideas out of a book and might be able to pick up a thing or two, but training with a top notch instructor is the best way to develop those skills. Agreed, I was more looking for material to use for when I'm not on the range, just a little extra on my own time. Thanks for the sugges...
