Re: Hybrid Program
Roger that, thanks for the heads up. I'll say that I do recognize the LSS as having training impact but when comparing to hills or something with heavy kettelbells, the muscular fatigue level is on a whole other level. I'm still amazed at how much standard hills smoke my hamstrings, and it seems lik...

Re: Hybrid Program
I thought that might be an issue but it hasn't bothered me. I think it's partially because I'm only doing one lower body HIC with hills. Also the LSS run isn't very taxing and sometimes feels like active recovery. Another reason I have both rest days during the week is just that I don't have as much...

Hybrid Program
I've been running a new version of some TB programs that I combined to work better with my schedule. I cleverly named it Zulerator(because I'm corny) and as you might have guessed it's a combination of Zulu and Operator. I've realized that I really enjoy squatting 3 times a week but also enjoy the s...

Re: Same day MS and HIC
Thanks for the reply, makes sense. I was thinking of maybe doing hills or meat eater 2 after two of my OP sessions and maybe leave the third of alone. On one hand it's packing alot in on one day but the idea of an extra recovery day while still getting 3 MS and 3 HIC a week is very appealing.

Same day MS and HIC
I would like to hear opinions from those who have experience doing max strength work on the same day as HIC sessions, particularly as it relates to strength gains. From what I've read in the TB books it seems feasible to do this with operator, Zulu, or fighter but I was wondering if people have seen...

Re: Sumo DL with OP
Dang, back squats and sumo's? Impressive! I think that would push me into over-train mode but I am doing some conditioning 3 other days too. I too am running the minimal 3 sets. I think something that has been really helpful is doing my rows before DL's because it gets my posterior chain primed and ...

Sumo DL with OP
Hello, I'm new to the forum and have been running TB for almost a year now, mostly Operator. I love back squats but have had some of the typical issues mentioned by others, i.e. longer warm up times and frequent low back tightness. I've always had good luck with Sumo deadlifts and am now running my ...
