Re: Article "Operator Options". You'll Want to Read This.
As a mid 40s desk jockey, squatting and deadlifting in the same workout does not work for me (lower back). replacing squats with DL on wednesdays is a great option. I'm currently experimenting with deadlifting on Saturdays along with sandbag carries, farmers walk, kb suitcase carries, and pinch grip...

However as the weights of the bag got heavier, the seams woudl eventually split so either I would have to double bag or ...

Re: Strongman Sandbags
I have both the rogue strongman sandbag 100lb and the ironmind sandbag (150lb pea gravel and 200lb sand) All 3 bags are great tools for odd object training. If you are deadlifting 500lb then the 100 lb will be too light - great for conditioning my max DL is 315 so the rogue 100 lb bag is fine. it is...

Re: Order of exercises; Pros & Cons?
I work out at 7:30 am and tend to need more warmup for squats. Thus I bench first and during my 2-3 min rest periods, I do dynamic stretching for squats - high knee raises, lunges, band work. This helps tremendously for my mobility when I start squatting. I also superset squats with WPU - 2 minutes ...

Re: sled and weighted carries
thanks for the replies! i will continue to do them after strength days and on conditioning days focus on runs and HIC (alot of good examples in TB2). heavy sled and carries have a large strength compenent to them... so i guess in order to limit strength training to 4 days a week i will keep my routi...
