Re: Throwaway174886 Training Log

Ran 6 miles at a 10:33 pace. Something else I'm going to try to focus on during base is squat mobility so starting today I'm going to spend at least 10 minutes in a squat position everyday using the first MWOD video on YouTube.

Re: Throwaway174886 Training Log

Day 4 done. Did the same PT Pyramid as Monday although it seemed a lot easier this time. Tomorrow I've got a 7 mile LSS Run scheduled and I'm excited to get out and run because it will finally be below 80 degrees and low humidity for the first time in about a month.

Re: Throwaway174886 Training Log

If you're interested Stew apparently came out with a updated version of his twelve weeks to BUD/S workout that is supposed to include weights, but it cost $50. Here is the link

Re: Throwaway174886 Training Log

Thanks nickgoldma. The PT Pyramid idea is from Stew Smith's 12 Weeks to BUD/S Book. I defiantly would recommend any of Stew's stuff if you're looking for a challenge, however based off of the two books I have of his (12 Weeks and The Special Operations Workout) in my opinion Stew's stuff is unsustai...

Re: Throwaway174886 Training Log

Day 2 done. Being that I'm a poor college student at the moment I don't have a heart rate monitor so for these runs I'm going to try to go at a pace to where I can comfortably breath through my nose for the entirety of the run. Having said that I ran six miles today at just under an 10:30/mile pace....
