Re: Zulu Testing Day(s)?
Thanks for the reply Geidi. I have just tested over two days for this coming block. I feel it has served me better than testing on one day. Coming off an OP block SQ/BP/PU (1 day DL x3) and can't believe the increases in some of my weights. My numbers were not great prior to this, with being only a...

Re: Zulu Testing Day(s)?
The times I've run Zulu in the past I've done both. I've tested over two days, and I've done it all in one go. Either way you're fine. I could be wrong but I think I remember reading in one of the books or a post that it's not a big deal testing when you're tired because it acts like a form of self-...

I would say the one thing I adhere to rain or shine is getting in at least 1 gram of protein per lb of body-weight.

Re: TB for women.
My wife uses Operator. She went from 2 shaky bw pull-ups to 5 strict WPU with 10lbs. No changes or adjustments made to the program other than using a training max.

Well, you can take comfort in knowing you can rack that weight well before failure and still count it as a successful session.
Or break it down into mini sets; singles, doubles, triples

Re: Couple questions about TB
What edition of the book do you have? Which deadlift set-up are you going with? The pull-up question is answered in the book, it depends on how many reps you can do. If less than ten then you calculate your total number of reps using the percentages of total number. Personally I'd go with Fighter B...

Re: Favorite Conditioning Session?
I think you're going to get a lot of "Apex" answers. I love Apex, but I'm really beginning to appreciate Fobbit intervals more and more. I find the combo of either skipping or low intensity treadmill jogging + Kettlebell swings super convenient. Convenience and ease of access + awesome wor...

Re: Training Max *again*
I think you'd have to finish out your experiment completely (finish the block with a true 1rm) retest and check out your results. Maybe you would've made that rep with a longer RI, maybe you'll complete the reps as your strength trg progresses and you grow into the heavier weights. Hard to say. In t...

Re: Reading List
Recently finished Ultmate MMA Conditioning by Joel Jamieson. Good info overall, but more on the scientific side related to MMA conditioning. Essentially supports what is written in the TB books, but gives more behind the scenes info and may not be quite as easily digestible as the TB books in my op...
