Re: Choice paralysis and how to deal with it.
Refer to title. What's your take on dealing wit choice paralysis or maybe you have some interesting reads about the subject. I guess it depends on the two choices and how they relate to your goals. I would put pen to paper and list out the pros and cons of each. Pick the one with the most "pro...

Re: Functional Diet for the Tactical Athlete
How long have you been counting calories? If it hasn't been long you might want to continue with it until you can estimate or guess. You can speed the process up by picking 5-6 meals you really like and repeating them through the week. I personally don't think counting calories is necessary if you'...

Re: Functional Diet for the Tactical Athlete
Do you guys have any tips for someone who's wishing to move away from counting calories? It's kind of gotten tedious to weigh everything and scan every barcode for myfitnesspal. From past experiences I feel like I'm just going to underestimate my intake and gain unwanted weight. How long have you b...

Re: How to increase chin up numbers?
I'm wondering how best to increase my chin ups while following the TB approach. Not too long ago I followed the Fighter pull up program and was able to 5 chins before one of my elbows developed a bit of pain. After a break, I'm back at it, but can only do 3 chins. I'd like to do weighted chins, but...

Re: Caffeine
What are your concerns with creatine exactly? It's the most highly researched supplement in the market. Proven effective with no safety issues in 20 years plus. You're missing out on energy (ATP generation), muscle growth, power and cognitive benefits. All the formulated pre-workouts are much more ...

Re: Reading List
I'm about 3/4 of the way through the "Fountainhead" by Ayn Rand. Other than some draggy passages and sometimes odd writing I'm not sure what the controversy is around Rand and this book. Maybe someone more knowledgeable than me can shed some light on this....would be very curious to hear ...

Re: Pavel's anti-glycolytic training
Hi everyone, I've been reading up on this over at StrongFirst. As I understand it, the glycolytic system is the one you enter after the alactic (anaerobic) system runs out of steam. They favor either the alactic or the anaerobic system, and say athletes shouldn't spend much time in the glycolytic s...

Re: Movie/Netflix Recommendation Thread
Daredevil on Netflix folks. That's the way you do a comic book character on tv. Especially season 2 with the arrival of you-know-who.
