Re: How to increase chin up numbers?
1. Check out the tactical pull-up form. I used to have the same elbow issues with pull-ups, but once I fixed my form I am a lot better. I literally have my arms MAYBE 1/2 a hand wider than my shoulders, it will seem very narrow but you sort of want to mirror the grip you take with your overhead pres...

Re: Squat technique
I like mine where my heels are directly under my shoulders (i.e. shoulder width), and my feet are at a 30 - 45 degree angle. For you military types, it's going from position of attention (heels together, feet 45 degree angle), and just kicking feet out to shoulder width.

Re: Recommended belt?
If you're 5' 5" then I would suggest a 3" wide belt. If I could, I would have went with the 3" with my Inzer belt. I am 5' 6" and it is a bit too wide that it makes it difficult to move properly, but is still useable. However I know the 3" would provide the same benefits wit...

Re: Recommended belt?
This one is sufficient (I own one). If you're not powerlifting their is no need to go for an immensely heavy belt. Its also less rigid and won't pinch the skin. I feel I need to mention that you need to really learn how to use a lifting belt (i.e. practice using it before actually lifting). http://w...

Re: Calisthenics Instead of Barbells
I will have to read through TB1 and see what it says about using Calisthenics. I am aware that barbells are obviously more efficient in incremental loading, but less efficient if you don't own equipment or cannot afford a gym. Most can afford a pull-up bar or maybe some boxes (or just some cinderblo...

Calisthenics Instead of Barbells
Good Morning to Everyone! So to begin, I personally have somewhat gotten bored of the whole barbell strength training thing and this program is the first time in a while where I have actually broke out my barbell to strength train. I wanted to follow the program to a 'T' but am finding the same bore...

Rain isn't the issue, I am not going to be stupid and try to run outside in a thunderstorm.

Indoor Cardio Options
Hello All, So I am in a conundrum where I need to find a way to do the LSS cardio indoors without any machines (no treadmill, no rower...etc). The Customs and Border Protection does a 5 minute step-test as a physical fitness requirement prior to entry. I wonder if this is one option to perform low i...
