Re: Using the time between sets

I sometimes read on my phone, make coffee, or cook breakfast/dinner. I usually stretch the muscle group I am working. Today my rest intervals were (feed the baby cereal, and hold the baby.)  or you could always 'mire and pose like Arnold or Yates front the mirror trying to impress them w...

Re: Using the time between sets

Hello there! I started with the TM-Tests / 1RM-Tests for my lifts and I always waited for a minimum of 2 minutes between sets (golden rule). If I for example will do 5x5 Squat / 5x5 Bench / 5x5 WPUs this will need a lot of time (with warmup, changing weights etc.). How do you use this time? Between...

Re: Replacement(s) for back squats

Bulgarian split squats are worth a try for a block or two. I also saw an Athlean-X video in which they jumped from the bottom position. Yeah should definitely do Bulgarians split squats with all its variations with trap bar ,dumbbells ,kettlebells etc...and I also suggest him to do lots of barbell ...

Re: Replacement(s) for back squats

My 27 year old son has issues with shoulder/neck flexibility that he has not been able to overcome, even with the help of several coaches and physical therapists. He has a very long neck and has had neck/shoulder stiffness pretty much his whole life. I got him hooked on SS and TB and he is loving i...

Re: Lower Back Issue

About once or twice per year, I’ll be doing something pretty innocuous and my lower back will suddenly seize up. For example, one time I was playing floor hockey and running backwards while defending. They pass the ball across the court and I shift ever so slightly and my lower back just seized up....

Re: Ran TB for 6 months, here are my results & some tips.

Hey guys, Long-time lurker on the forum over here and at reddit. I have been using Tactical Barbell for the past 6 months so I thought I would give something back to the community and report my progress, what worked for me and what didn’t. I always love reading progress reports so here is mine, hop...

Re: "Pre-Base Building" - Get Conditioned for the Real BB

Thanks for all the kind comments. Looks solid, I'll be borrowing this for my wife. I see you're into Go-Ruck, it'd be awesome to see some sort of TB based Go-Ruck prep plan at some point! I've done a few approaches but my last was solid. I did a write up on Reddit about it but if there's interest I...
