Hello all,
I posted this on reddit too. Operator template for 6 weeks, upon retest my DL barely increased by 5lbs. I was running operator with the DL option of 1 work set per week. It was suggested on reddit I bump up to 3 sets.
I've been thinking whats the best way to do this, should I do all 3 sets on one day, or should I do 1 set every operator session instead? I'm asking because frequency seems to be the theme for TB?
Added 30lbs to BP. DL Didn't Budge.

I like "option 2", which is SQ/BP/WPU then replacing WPU with 3 sets of DL on day 3.
"Option 1", which is one set every day, is fine. The trouble I have with that is it takes up a lot more time. It takes a while to load up plates and do warmup sets every single day.
Your DL not progressing might be because of your current level of strength development. Your DL might be closer to its maximum potential than your BP. I'm experiencing something very similar right now with my squats.

I think it might also be a case of 1 work set a week being too little volume for sufficient practice.
Pavel's Power To The People principle of "frequent practice while staying fresh" seems to underpin the progression logic of Tactical Barbell. The key linchpin of Operator is maximal practice opportunities per week.
If you're going for practice frequency, 1 work set per day is the way to go - with the warm up sets all in, you'd be getting any where from 2 ~ 4 sets within a 5 ~ 7 minute window.
What I do is to replace my squats on one session with a deadlift - you could try and see if this works. I accumulate about 8 sets total a week like this.
How are your squat numbers progressing?
