Something very common in 50+ yo people is disrupted sleep. See e.g. https://medlineplus.gov/ency/article/004018.htm You can find a lot more if you want to read about it. The worst of it for me was waking up very early - no real way to go back to sleep before it was time to get up for work.
What can help is glycine. Buy it as a powder, it is cheap, should be available at your local health food store or organic grocery store. Take a gram in some water an hour or so before bed. There is no health downside to trying it or using it.
Over 50’s Club
Re: Over 50’s Club
Stew Smith just published brand new book for training over 50 athletes. I just ordered it for myself. If you know Stew’s work you will appreciate it for sure.

I want bring this thread to life..
Running my fall BB now. Using customized GC2 with pull-ups, one arm pushups with rollers, and Cossack squats. Started with 10-1 and progressing by adding rounds: 11,12, etc. LSS are running mostly. Started with 30 min and progressing by adding more time. Planning on finishing with 60min +. Fall seems to be perfect time of year to do that. Overall feeling great.
I find having BB twice a year is a perfect schedule to keep yourself alive over 50. Have a few ideas on adjusting strength blocks as well. To be continued.

Oh.. basically you do one arm pushups but your other arm rolls out and back with either sliders (or paper plate) or ab roller. Out when you going down and back when you go up.
