I think the Z press is excellent for eliminating leg drive and forcing super strict OHP. Would do them at lower intensity with perfect form as an accessory movement to strict OHP/military press.

Bradfords move around your head so dumbbells probably won't work too well for them. They're safer than a strict behind the neck press simply because you're only going over the top of your head. Jim Bradford, a 1950s era weightlifter, made them as he was a C&P specialist. He was big (he competed at 123kg most of the time) and was just four pounds shy of a 400 Olympic press.

No experience with them, but I can see it being useful (especially if you're lifting in your garage).
