Hey guys
I'm currently doing base building and I'm wondering which continuation protocol I should follow afterwards?
Here are my goals: I want to be a police officer and hope to be one within the next couple years or so depending on my success with the hiring process. I am also planning to join the army reserves as an infantry soldier.
I'm a relative beginner in terms of weights so I'm definitely not very experienced in that regard.
I was thinking that I'd like to do operator + black or is it even possible to do operator + green? Otherwise I think I might have to do fighter + green for the army reserves. I was just thinking that since it will be the army reserves and not full-time that I won't need to use the green protocol.
Would love to hear your thoughts and opinions.
Question regarding template from TBI and TBII to follow after base building.
Re: Question regarding template from TBI and TBII to follow after base building.
As an infantry reservist myself who is out in the field one weekend every month I definitely don't need as much conditioning as I did when I was full time as a conscript. I've been on OP (I/A) + black for most of my TB training (about over a year in total) and I've been absolutely fine. Both in long endurance aspects as ruck marches and quick energy burst aspects as fire and move. Of course your army reserve experience might be different but I think that green is really for an endurance athlete.
But how are your physical requirements for your police officer job. Would that require that you run green?

I'll reinforce what Ectional said - Operator (eventually I/A) and Black Professional should be more than enough. Be smart when choosing HICs. Go with running based stuff; Fast 5, Hill Sprints, Apex. Run/FunRun/Ruck for your weekly Es. Finally, always have pull-ups in your strength cluster - either weighted or bodyweight. If you end up needing a little more oomph in the cardio department then simply run Base twice a year.

Here are what the physical requirements look like: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zWBPodHpieQ
It looks like I might not be going into the army reserves after all. I'm sure Operator + Black would be just what I need then for the police.
