Zulu: upper lower split OK?

I've run all the searches that made sense and only come up with one hit, so I will ask:
Thinking of running Zulu as an upper/lower split. There is a park with enough gear - pull up bars, high bars to sling my rings over, etc. a few miles from my house that is perfect for upper body work. I can do the lower at home with kettlebells. Given that I get around via bicycle, hauling the bells to the park is not viable or I would do that.
Any reason not to use the upper lower split? I can't think of one, but it's not mentioned in the books as far as I can see.
Thanks in advance for any thoughts.
