Prowler Sled workouts

Recently joined a gym that has a bit more equipment and I'm excited to have access to a prowler sled but not having any prior experience with it raised a question of should I load it up heavy and go slow or load it up lighter and go faster and more explosive? Answer probably of course is both but maybe I can get some more clarification.

Both is the correct answer. Load it up heavy for short pushes to work strength and hypertrophy, load it up lighter for long pushes to work on strength endurance and conditioning. Either way it will leave you gasping and wishing you chose another form of exercise. I love my prowler

Also, if they have a rope you can tie the rope to it and pull it hand over hand towards you to work your upper body. You can also drag it behind you with the rope or a harness. Dragging it feels different to me than pushing it. Both are great. Dragging it backwards will destroy your quads in a great way. For chest work you can push it away from you explosively.

I like moderate load sprints and pushes. I dont see the point of loading it too heavy.

Enough that once you have speed up it is a constant movement. I prefer heavy carries if i want to grind away at something

I've got a Rogue Slice sled, thats great for pushing around the neighborhood.

I generally just make up the workouts as I go though- curious if any of y'all have set interval workouts or loading that you repeat?

The sled itself weighs 70# and I generally load it with another 90-115# and do sprint repeats. Disntance is prob between 50-80 yards, never measured it.

Basically if someone has a tried and true sled program, post it up
