I thought the same with the rest times. I usually run my TB sessions in a circuit fashion in my power rack at home and I can smash out my early training sessions in 30 or so mins with smart times warmups. That is using the standard swat cluster.
If I don’t time my rest or set up probably they can blow out to an hour.

Like the OP, I find that TB takes me at least an hour, usually a little over an hour. Now this includes a general wam-up (5-10 minutes), warm-up sets for each exercise, the working sets, and a stretch at the end (5-10 minutes). I've tried to cut it down by tinkering with not doing a general warm-up or not doing warm-up sets, and it just doesn't work for me. But I think that I'd have the same results no matter which program I was on. Also, like the OP, I think that the book implies that these are quick sessions, but I don't think that they're any quicker than any other program that I've been on.
That's not a negative. I just don't think TB takes any less time than other (simple) strength programs that I have been on (e.g., SS, GSLP, 5/3/1).

The reddit OP is doing 5-7 warm-up sets, so that explains his 90+min MS sessions. I would never say someone is wrong for warming up, but I'm not sure how 5-7 warm-up sets squares with the principal of lowest effective dose - which for me is part of the magic of TB.
I hope people don't read OP's post and think everyone has to take 90min to do MS. Three exercises, three work sets, 5min RIs takes me well under 60 minutes. I can get pretty close to 30min if I cut down to 2min or 3min RIs (which I don't like to do). My stats are similar to OP, and my warm-up for FSQ and BP is bar x5, 135x5. I'll do a set of BWPU if WPU is my first lift. Otherwise, I'm already "warm" when it's time for WPU. If I had 90+min to work, I guess I would do more prehab exercises and stretching. Maybe some kind of finisher.
