Base Building Question

Fighter Template:
4 x 5 of Squats, Bench, WPUs if I feel fresh I hit Deads for 4 sets if I feel a little lagged I’ll just do the 1 work set

Anyway deadlifts, WPUs & BP are going absolutely great however……

Squats at weight I’ve used before in 531 and testing. It feels like I’m squatting with an extra plate each side 😬

Has anyone else struggled during base with squats?

Is it worth dropping my TM?
Or
Is it the fact I’m running again and the mileage is just going to take a bit of getting use to?
