Minimalist Cluster Critique

Hey guys, I'm planning a 9 week Green protocol where I'll be working on running, and rucking. I want to use Fighter template for my strength days. I'm planning on going with a minimalist cluster consisting of:

Clean & Press
Back Squat

Any issues? Strength will be going on the back burner while I focus on Endurance. It's simply not a priority for me at this time.

*a little background; Been using TB for about a year, went from not being able to run 1.5 miles continuously--- to running for 60 minutes straight after getting through Base Building. Have had success with Black & Op template too. I want to focus on endurance again for a while as I'm thinking about doing a Go-Ruck or Spartan (still figuring it out with my buddies).

I don't have any experience with Green or with training for an endurance event. But that is a really good minimalist cluster. Generally it seems hard to go wrong with running that for nine weeks. The one idea I had was that if strength was going on the back burner, and it is only for nine weeks, would C&P + pullups leave you with fresher legs, if you were going to be doing a lot of running?

Looks solid. If the squats become too much (don't know how much you currently lift) then consider front squats.

Looks fine to me too. C&P and SQ covers a lot of ground for strength. You might include some swings and pull-ups in your conditioning too.

Thanks guys. Based on your recommendations I've decided on the following:

C&P
Front Squat
Bodyweight Chins

I do plan on including light kettlebell swings in my conditioning work, so thanks for that!
