Deadmilling intervals

Has anyone ever used deadmilling intervals? Was working out with a mate at the weekend and we did 10 sets of 20 seconds to finish. Basically running on the treadmill with the power off.. tough as hell. Very like a prowler and seems to have an instant impact upon sweat levels..enjoyed it...and now back to base building for week 5
