Listening to Dolce is like listening to nails on a chalkboard and I apologize in advance, but I thought some of you might find this interesting. Minute 2 onward...sound familiar?

Hahaha it does indeed:

Train FULL body 3 days a week (M/W/F)
Use multi-joint compound movements
Use a Squat/Upper Body Press/Pull or Hinge (he uses back squat/military press/deadlift cluster)
5 x 5 sets in the 85%rm range/ 4-6 rep range/ stop before form breaks

He also talks about adding in ancillary movements like weighted push-ups, weighted pull-ups, weighted dips.

You weren't kidding about nails on a chalkboard.. I notice he recommends some Base building style easy cardio too.

That workout must take forever though....look at it

SQ 5 x 5 85%
MP 5 x 5 85%
DL 5 x 5/ 85%
(I really like this cluster for Operator though)

Weighted Push-ups
Weighted Dips
Weighted Chins

Core + Grip

Yeah. Also no progression, sounds like just lift 85%rm to 90% every workout. He even recommends grinding it out which I think is a big mistake for longevity with that kind of workload. Good for beginners though.

Other than his nutrition stuff aimed at UFC fighters, I think his weight training advice is aimed more at guys that want to get as big and strong as possible vs ultimate all around performance per se.

I do like that cluster for Op tho, I've used it once or twice and it's awesome (BSQ/OHP/DL). I think I'm going to revisit it with Sumo or Trapbar.

I think it's a very good approach for a drug-free beginner or a PED using intermediate/advanced. I can't see anyone that's drug-free with intermediate strength levels doing all of that 3 times a week alongside heavy conditioning. Not for long anyway, maybe concentrated blocks 3-6 weeks at a time perhaps. Based on that one video he doesn't prescribe waving the loads week-by-week like Operator would so you're "grinding" 85%+ every single training day.
