First time User Basebuilding-Continuation Training Log
I am going into my 6th week of base building and decided to start logging to better hold myself accountable as I finish out basebuilding and move forth into continuation. Im an army cadet currently on track to commission in 2 years. My most recent APFT is somewhere around a 315 with 82 pushups, 84 situps, and a 12:55 2 mile. Most recent maxes are a 310 bench, 310 squat (relatively horrible, I know), and a 455 deadlift. Monday is the start of my 6th week of basebuilding using the strength-first template along with operator.

Session this morning was decent. Squat and chin-ups went relatively smoothly at 295 and 65 respectively; however I missed my second rep on the first working set of bench at 295, and elected to drop down to 285 for the 2 remaining doubles. I failed to swallow my pride at the beginning of the block (by not using a training max) and have experienced the downfall of such mistake. Lesson learned, do it by the book.
