Feel better! Interesting question about how masks and distancing will affect common infections, say, a year from now.

Thanks everyone for the well wishes. I am finally starting to feel better with only my sinuses being an issue now. Pretty much deaf in my left year as a result so hopefully that clears sooner rather than later.

I got a run in the other using the treadmill at work due to poor weather here. It was good to stretch the legs and lungs out and I haven’t had any major drop off in fitness whilst sick.

This is the longest period I have been sick in over 15 years. It will definitely be interesting to see what happens over the coming months with colds after all the lockdowns and masking. Another family member had the exact same thing as me and ended up hospitalised with seizures as a result of the fever. They are fine now but I will definitely be interested to see if this type of thing becomes more regular with common illnesses.

3x3 min rounds starting on the feet

I am finally feeling better and it was great to get back on the mats. I have a week off so will be trying to get some consistency back in my training as I head into the second last week of my OP I/A cycle.

Lots of Bjj and training on the horizon over the coming days.

Deadlift 90kg 1x3

My shoulder pulled up a bit sore post takedowns so took an extra recovery day. Just a nice easy bare min training session to finish the week. The definite goal for my next run through is to be more consistent with the conditioning. No allowing any major weight progressions until I do more HIC and E. I might progress my deadlift and squat slightly, nut no major increases or allowing myself to test at this time.
