Thanks, you too! I just have a little chest cold, but I've been sick several times this winter which is unlike me. Time to get those calories up! Hope you're on the mend.

Hey team - I've been off the training log for a minute, but I'm still around. I moved house, started a new job, finished base building, and ran a block of Smolov Base. Smolov got me to a 175 squat, which is tantalizing close to my goal of 180 (1.5x bw). During that time I lost 5 lbs off my bench and I added 5 lbs to my DL despite not training either, so I think it was worth it. Next up is probably a block of operator + 3x a week of LSS.

Thanks KB and Barkadion!

First day back on Operator. Smolov was pretty psychologically demanding, so it was a relief to work in the 70% range today. I'm doing a cluster of back squat, overhead press, deadlifts (1x/wk) and pull-ups. I'm using a training max.

Saturday
SQ 5 x 5 x 110 (these felt super easy)
Tested OHP - hit 65 for two. I thought this was pretty lame, but I looked it up and it's about in line with my 100 lbs bench press.
WPU - 3 sets of 5 with +10. I learned recently that the female world record for PU is a 237 total. I've done 170, which is admittedly a big gap but not outrageous. Discovering this has made me a bit more inspired about pullups.

Training has been continuing apace. I was on TDY most of this week but still managed three workouts. This weekend I got in a nice hour run at LSS pace and completed day two of 85%. Tried to pick up 225 but failed - maybe next time. Low carb has also been working out great, I'm really enjoying it.
