It is now, yes. I'd gotten in the habit of walking on the treadmill at an incline for my LSS for a little while. It got my heart in the right range (barely) but the muscle endurance in my lower legs evaporated. Now after putting some work into it, I'm back to being able to jog normally for the times I want to do.
Great. I guess I just have to keep trying. Twice now I tried to increase my running time and both times it ended with injuries. Knowing that you're a bigger guy, it gives me hope.

My issues were with my feet and lower legs. After jogging, say, 15 minutes, I'd get pain and then numbness at the bottom of my shins, that sort of thing. It is muscular, so if I keep at it I can build up the muscles and, if not eliminate it, at least get it under control. So now I'll get some soreness at 20 minutes, but by 30 minutes it's gone and I can just keep grinding out the minutes.

I've never had a proper injury, just overuse type problems like this.if you are having similar problems, and you have the money, I'd strongly encourage you go to a specialist/local running shoe store and tell them your problems. Better shoes and socks helped me a ton.

Good luck with it.

Oh, that's a great idea actually. I've always wondered if I was running with the right shoes. Thanks!
