Note: felt really good today, was controlling the eccentric on the DL nicely, which for me thinking that I might start incorporating the GHR at some point just to keep the hamstrings in good order, plus, it’s a fun exercise.

Note: so something I’ve noticed in the past with the airbike, if I go all out at the start, I’ll definitely be moving slower on the back end, but I’ll end up with more Cals, yet holding a pace for 2 minutes without a significant drop, seems to make a 2-3 cal difference. No complaints, just an observation from attacking this session in different ways. Breathing felt good throughout, as good as possible through this session, I have missed the longer interval work, I find I recover better and my legs are better skate wise when I’ve got these sessions involved on a regular basis, I have a couple of ideas. Really did enjoy that one this evening.

Note: Felt great on the squats, was keen to see how I would back up lifting after the Airbike Intervals. Years ago, I definitely would have noticed the difference as I could
condition all day, but lacked in the strength department, good to see things are balancing out. Good session overall.
