My body pooped out for a day or two there but I'm back.

20180503:
Usual Original Strength warm up then I did some incentive training with a 45lb rucksack. EMOM of push-ups, thrusters, overhead lunges, and V-ups. 10 reps each minute, alternating through in 4 minute groups. I did 16 minutes (40 reps of each) to start and then I threw on my pack and tried to ruck a mile as fast as I could. 14:56.

20180505:
Rucked 2 quick miles in AM with 45#, then did a mud run with my youngest (a kid one so not really a workout at all).

20180506:
100 four count flutterkicks and 100 overhead presses with 45# ruck. Every time I had to stop, I ran 200m then got right back to it. Thus I got 100 reps of each in plus 1.25 miles in 10:34, all in less than 35 minutes.

Battling some kind of funk lately. I got sick Monday night, Tuesday I was ill most of the day, but Wednesday I felt fine. Did an easy 2 mile run in 20:12, then since waking up today I’m feeling ill again. Attempting a selection standard test Saturday so hoping it goes away before then (minimums are push ups 55 in 2 minutes, sit ups 65 in 2 minutes, 12 mile timed ruck in under 3:30).

I don't get sick too often but this year really broke me in a way. Whatever is going around is tough.. I am still recovering and feeling down too and my wife and kids were sick long time as well.. Hope you beat it soon..
Cheers!

Thanks Bark. It was still sticking around Saturday, and then my wife got it as well.

20180512:
Started a 12 mile ruck march with the wife but we cut it short as she got very ill very quickly. Ended up being 3 miles in about 50 minutes instead (I pretty much ran a mile back to the car to get her). Fortunately she is much better now, but whatever funk we had going on was rough this week.

20180514:
Feeling better and back at it. 4 miles with 45# in 1:09, then Incentive Training. 50 reps each of push-ups, thrusters, overhead lunges, and V-ups with the ruck.

20180519:
Urban survival course. Instructional periods followed by practical application and lots of running around. Did about 7 miles with a light pack and some other light equipment during that time.

Ruck PT followed by miles. 50 reps each of ruck push ups, thrusters, overhead walking lunges, and V-ups. I then did a slow 2+ hour 4 mile ruck with my boys as they rode their bikes on the trail.

20180521:
Led a youth PT session at one of our local schools. Worked about a dozen 8th graders and put them through the wringer as I worked alongside them. Slow to come around but by the end we had all but 2-3 working out with us.

20180522:
Max strength work. One arm snatch sport practice (5 minute set), 2x20kg front squats, bodyweight pull ups, Turkish get-ups.
